Promotional Tracker: June 20 - June 26
The steady climb into summer sales keep going - and it's only going to get worse (or better if you want to shop!). With the average promotional value up over 5% this week, an increase in new cuts, and an increase of the overall percent of the assortment that is discounted, it will be interesting to see what happens the upcoming Fourth of July Weekend. As one of the largest promotional weekends of the year we can expect retailers to slash-and-burn to clear out of their summer inventory.
