Your Job

StyleSage is an international company, with our commercial headquarters in New York, and engineering/product team in Madrid, Spain. As an account executive, you will be located fulltime in Madrid and will report to our VP of Business Development who is located in New York. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a retail technology company where you can make a large impact.

  • Initiate conversations with potential client via phone and email outreach
  • Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions for their specific needs, own the proposal process, and close the sale
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with fashion industry clients and executives
  • Navigate through complex sales cycles
  • Present and differentiate the value propositions of StyleSage for all levels of the organization
  • Evangelize the StyleSage vision through product demonstrations, and events including speaking engagements and tradeshows
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to document sales activities
  • Achieve all individual sales targets set by the company
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
  • Help craft go-to-market strategy for Europe

Your Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of direct sales experience in the B2B market with demonstrated success in solution sales domains
  • Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships; with a true “hunter” mentality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English; other European languages such as Spanish or French major plus)
  • Sales experience; you can’t be afraid to pick up the phone and call a stranger
  • Have utilized a CRM system like Salesforce.com
  • Experience selling SaaS, analytics, or data products (preferred)
  • Fashion, Home, Beauty, or other retail industry preferred
